Phillips 66 Ponca City Restarted Multiple Units on Feb 5

Phillips 66 Ponca City refinery in Oklahoma restarted multiple units early Monday following a halt amid flaring late on Feb 1 according to Bloomberg citing Wood Mackenzie’s Genscape.

  • The restarted units include the 89kb/d crude unit, 38kb/d CDU, 15kb/d vacuum distillation unit, 26kb/d FCC-4 and 44kb/d FCC-5.
  • The 27kb/d catalytic reformer remained offline since Feb 1.
  • Ponca City has a total throughout of 230kb/d and produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and anode-grade petroleum coke distributed to customers in the Midcontinent region.
