Pipestone To Ramp Up Output Amid Wildfire Threat Ease

Pipestone Energy plans to increase production volumes in the coming days to return to full capacity as the threat eases from wildfires that have spread through Alberta according to the company.

  • More favourable weather conditions in recent days and efforts by firefighters have detained fires that impacted several of Pipestone’s third-party infrastructure.
  • Around 20,000 boepd of production had been temporarily halted with a precautionary shut-in late on May 12.
  • Vermillion Energy reported last week it had restored around 60% of the 30,000 boepd of production that was temporarily shut.
