  • PiS reportedly planning a cabinet reshuffle for September.
    • Major changes include resignation of PiS leader Kaczynski as deputy PM, as Kaczynski prefers to dedicate more time to situation in the parliament.
    • Former Porozumienie MP Ociepa may become Development minister. Climate Minister Kurtyka will likely lose his job for mishandling of the Turow dispute with Czechia and be replaced by former deputy maritime economy minister Anna Moskwa.
    • Deputy Funds Minister Waldemar Buda reportedly hopes to become a full minister to replace Tadeusz Koscimski, but his chances might be undercut by his lack of success in negotiations with the EC over the Polish recovery plan.
    • Further changes include dismissal of the Farming Minister Puda, who seems highly unpopular among farmers
  • PiS is looking for alliances that will guarantee it will enjoy a stable parliamentary majority. Talks set to start early next week with Partia Republikanska headed by Porozumienie defector Adam Bielan, when PiS leader Kaczynski is back from vacation. PiS is reluctant to offer them too big a share in the ruling coalition
