POWER: Engie Extends Doel 4 Outage Amid Fault

Engie has extended the maintenance at the 1.03GW Doel 4 nuclear reactor in Belgium, after finding issues with the rector’s concrete dome, a spokesperson said, cited by Bloomberg. 

  • The latest remit message from 25 September showed, the outage had been extended until 30 November, from 23 October previously scheduled.
  • Engie is currently undertaking further inspections on the issue, the spokesperson added.
