President Boric’s Approval Falls Again, BCCh Minutes Due Thursday

  • President Boric's approval continues its downward trend and reaches 26% (-1pt), which represents a fall of 13pts in four weeks. Meanwhile, 66% (+ 1 point) disapprove of his management, being the highest since he took office in March of this year.
  • September producer prices fell 0.1% M/m versus prior reading of -0.5%.
    • Producer Price Index +17.3% Y/y in September.
  • On Thursday, the BCCh will publish the minutes from the Oct 12 MPC meeting. At that meeting, the central bank delivered a unanimous 50bp rate hike to 11.25% and signalled the end of the hiking cycle.
