Prime Minister Trudeau To Deliver Remarks On US-Canada Relations

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in New York today to deliver remarks on US-Canada relations at an event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations think tank .

• Trudeau will be building upon last month's visit to Ottawa from US President Joe Biden where the two leaders unveiled a joint strategy for the extraction, development and processing of critical minerals.

• White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said yesterday in a major policy speech that the US-Canada deal is a key element of the US strategy to secure critical supply chains.
