Creditors holding Argentina's provincial debt raised concerns that prospects for long-term growth are "being frustrated by short-sighted politics," according to a statement issued by the group.

  • Group formed to advocate on behalf of institutional and retail investors in the Argentine provincial bond market (holds over $3 billion).
  • Persistent denial of the contractual basis of agreement reached between the provinces and their lenders as well as political backdrop "profoundly concerning".
