Gold traded sharply lower yesterday clearing support and its range base at

$1473.9, Oct 11 low. The break lower highlights once again a bearish theme and

the yellow metal is likely to remain under pressure near-term. Attention turns

to primary support at $1459.00, Oct 1 low where a break would confirm a

resumption of the downtrend that has developed since Sep 4. This would open

$1436.8. Resistance is seen at $1494.9, Wednesday's high.
