DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: Rate touches session highs and breaks the C$1.2950 level as US
traders send the greenback higher in early NY. Another day of lower commodities
is hurting CAD today (WTI down another 2+%) as Saudi Arabia's oil minister
repeated the sentiment seen from Russia yesterday, seeing an oil supply boost in
H2 this year. Further resistance may be found on an approach into the C$1.30
level with C$1.2998 marking the May8 high ahead of C$1.3038, the 1.618% swing of
C$1.2925-1.2743.
