REFINING: BP Whiting Refinery Appears to Restart After Delays

It appears that BP's Whiting, IN refinery, one of the largest purchasers of Canadian crude oil, was able to restart units after malfunctions last week according to GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan.

  • Reuters sources reported on November 19 that the refinery’s return from maintenance had been delayed. A source told Reuters that two of the units experienced startup delays.
