The pair faded the entirety of the Thursday move higher ahead of the Friday close, working against the previously bullish outlook. This cements the failure of the move higher to top 50-day EMA resistance, returning the outlook lower for now. A clear break of the 50-day EMA and the bear channel top is needed to cement any progress from here. Key short-term support gave way Friday at 1.1582, opening losses toward 1.1524/1.1493.
