  • Cash tsys finished 8-11bps richer across the major benchmarks, the belly lead the bid.
  • Tsys firmed off session lows after the latest round of US data. Participants perhaps focusing on weaker than forecast Core PCE Price Index and Jobless Claims, which were their highest in 5 months.
  • Additional support was seen in the space after the latest 7-Year Auction stopped through. A strong bid/cover ratio was observed alongside firm indirect take up.
  • Geo-political concerns in the Middle East continue, Israel said it killed Hamas's deputy head of intelligence, who it said was responsible for helping plan the Oct. 7 attacks.
  • Tokyo CPI provides the highlight in a thin Asian session. Further out we have US PCE deflator, personal spending and income and University of Michigan consumer sentiment.
