Russia Crude Processing Falls Amid Maintenance

OIL

Russian refineries cut crude processing to 5.24mbpd from 1 May to 24 May to the lowest level in a year amid seasonal maintenance according to Bloomberg sources.

  • Crude-processing to 24 May dropped by more than 460kbpd compared to the February levels.
  • The reduction in the refinery runs has been largely offset by increasing Russian seaborne crude exports and with roughly stable pipeline oil flows suggesting little sign of the pledged 500kbpd of oil production cuts.
