Russia Diesel Exports from Western Ports to Rise 18% in Jan

Increasing refinery runs are expected to raise diesel exports from major western ports in Russia delivered by pipeline by almost a fifth in January according to Bloomberg.

  • Diesel loadings from Black and Baltic ports are set to increase by 18% from the 1-28 Dec average to 3.39m tons ( 817kb/d) in January according to industry data and Kpler.
  • Average refinery processing rates in the first 20 days of Dec increased by 60kb/d from Nov to 5.57mb/d amid the end of the planned maintenance season.
  • Diesel loading from Primorsk up to 2.311m tons in Jan from 2.01m in Dec. Loadings from Vysotsk to increase to 0.37m tons from 0.3m in Dec and from the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk rise to 0.713m tons in Jan from 0.521m tons.
