REFINING

Russia’s oil processing rates last week rose to the highest since mid August driven by the easing of government export restrictions on gasoline and summer-grade diesel and on the end of seasonal refinery maintenance.

  • Refineries processing rose more than 100kbpd on the week to 5.65mbpd in the week to Nov 22 according to a Bloomberg source.
  • Rates have increased by about 236kbpd from the October average to average 5.55mbpd in the period Nov 1-22.
