Russia will ship its first crude cargo to Brazil as it looks to diversify its buyers, according to Reuters.

  • Russia's Lukoil is shipping 80k mt of Varandey crude oil from Murmansk to the Madre de Deus port in Brazil. Information on the buyer was not immediately available.
  • Russia has been reliant on India and China as its main crude export destinations following a European seaborne embargo and price cap.
