REFINING
Russia’s offline primary capacity was revised higher to 12% for May at 3.392 million metric tons according to Reuters calculations based on industry sources.
- It was revised 19.2% higher than the previous plans because of changed maintenance plans at some large refineries.
- Idle capacity is below April’s level by 27.9%.
- June’s offline capacity is seen dropping by 41% to 1.936 million tons though may be much less if shutdowns roll over.
