US TSYS: Softer than expected official manufacturing PMI data put a modest bid
into the space, with yields 1.0-1.4bp lower across the curve at writing.
- T-Notes have stuck to a tight range, with the major Asia-Pacific economic data
releases out of the way. Focus now moves to the Trump-Kim summit, with little in
the way of market moving headlines expected. NBC reported that "U.S. negotiators
are no longer demanding that North Korea agree to disclose a full accounting of
its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs as part of talks this week
between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, according to current and former
senior U.S. officials."
- Flow in the space has been light thus far.
- Eurodollar contracts trade 0.25 to 2.0 ticks higher through the reds.
- T-Notes last 122.11+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.672%.
