Spreads To Bunds A Little Tighter Following U.S. IJC

EGBS

Yesterday’s low in Bund futures (133.94) remained intact during the U.S. IJC-inspired sell off, with the contract basing at 133.98 before recovering to 134.15

  • German yields little changed to +1.5bp on the day, with the steepening theme still intact.
  • This morning’s contained EGB spread widening to Bunds has mostly reversed, with EUR 3M10Y vol. softening a little since the U.S. data and the Euro Stoxx 50 erasing this morning’s losses.
  • Broader sentiment continues to dominate, with Eurozone headline flow relatively light on the day.
