Sweden, Finland Must Extradite 130 “Terrorists”, Erdogan Says

  • Speaking in Istanbul this morning, Treasury and Finance Minister Nebati called on businesses to not raise prices, adding that inflation has been in a downward trend for the past 2 months, with that trend set to continue.
  • Sweden and Finland must deport or extradite up to 130 "terrorists" to Turkey before the Turkish parliament will approve their bids to join NATO, President Erdogan said as cited by Reuters. Separately on Monday Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson said that his country was in a "good position" to secure Turkey's ratification of its NATO bid. Erdogan's spokesman that time was running out for Turkey's parliament to ratify the bids before presidential and parliamentary elections expected in May.
