Tass: Ryabkov Says Diplomats Could Be Withdrawn From Ukraine

Russian state-owned outlet TASS reporting that Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has said that he could not rule out Russian dipomats being withdrawn from Ukraine 'to protect them from provocations'.

• A number of Western nations have already withdrawn diplomats and/or their families from Ukraine in anticipation of a potential invasion by Russia.
• Earlier this morning, in an ill-tempered presser between Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, Lavrov hinted that a withdrawal could be on the cards, stating that "Our Anglo-Saxon colleagues are encouraging their citizens to leave Ukraine. Maybe they are the ones who are preparing something. Maybe we should be encouraging our diplomats to leave?!”
