Spot USD/THB last sits +0.060 at THB33.180. A break above Oct 18 high of THB33.488 would give bulls a green light for targeting Oct 6 high/round figure of THB33.990/34.000. Conversely, a retreat under yesterday's low of THB32.985 would clear the way to Sep 15 low of THB32.850.

  • PM Prayuth attends the ASEAN summit today, he urged fellow leaders to start reopening their countries. Separately, Dep PM Supattanapong speaks at Thailand Competitiveness Conference.
  • The Office of Industrial Economics will publish their m'fing production index later today. The index may have fallen 3.00% Y/Y in September, according to Bloomberg consensus.
  • Later this week, focus will turn to Friday's data dump, which includes BoP current account balance & trade balance.
