FOREX: The Asia-Pac session has been rather uneventful so far, with participants
left to mull the recent risk developments. The Antipodeans are on the back foot,
albeit only slightly, with the Aussie underperforming its peers from the G10
basket following the release of ANZ job ads data, which showed further
deterioration on a monthly basis.
- KRW is strongly bid in a delayed reaction to the improvement in broader risk
appetite amid easing concerns over the Mideast tensions. USD/KRW has already
breached yesterday's trough and is printing fresh session lows at typing.
- The focus turns to EZ CPI & retail sales, U.S. trade balance, ISM Non-M'fing,
factory orders and durable goods orders, Italian CPI and Canadian trade balance.
There are no central bank speakers of note on the docket today. In political
events, UK parliament returns from recess, MPs will debate the Brexit bill.
