German IFO and UK inflation that has helped reverse early core FI gains.
- Bunds went slightly offered on better-than-expected IFO figures; following
that, Gilts weakened following slightly above-consensus Nov headline infl.
- Tsys dipped in sympathy with Gilts but have recovered losses.
- BBG sources story saying ECB`s SSM could allow Greek banks to buy more Greek
sovereign debt has compressed GGB spreads; 10-Yr last 8.6bps tighter to Bunds on
the day, handily outperforming the rest of the periphery.
- Little new from ECB's Lagarde this morning; afternoon's focus is FedSpeak
including Chicago's Evans and NY`s Williams. No U.S. data of note.
- U.S. House impeachment of Pres Trump will garner headlines, starting 0900ET.
