KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia at $0.7282 at the lower side of
yesterday's $0.7281 to $0.7335 range, where souring risk sentiment amid a terror
attack in Barcelona and uncertainty about the health and stability of the Trump
administration placed the kiwi on the defensive. With most of the week's
economic data now behind us, local traders expect a quiet end to the week,
sideways consolidation is anticipated with a mild downside bias. For now,
support at $0.7279 (50% $0.7224-$0.7335) is holding, a break opens $0.7266
(61.8% on the same move), while hourly resistance is noted at $0.7314. Kiwi was
last at $0.7285
