SONIA: The front end of the Sonia curve is marginally flatter in early Monday
morning trade compared to Friday's close with markets looking ahead to key UK
data and monetary policy decisions from US, ECB and BoE all this week. Overnight
saw reports that London house prices continue to fall and that PM May will say
in the House of commons later that she is optimistic a deep and special future
deal can be agreed with the EU, but that nothing is agreed until everything is
agreed. MNI PINCH calculate a 46.5% chance of a rate hike in May 2018 & see
following levels in the short end of the Sonia curve:-
* 6-mth +0.1bp at 0.504%
* 9-mth -0.1bp at 0.543%
* 12-mth -0.2bp at 0.583%
* 15-mth -0.2bp at 0.616%
* 18-mth -0.4bp at 0.646%
* 21-mth -0.4bp at 0.675%
* 2-yr -0.4bp at 0.703%
* 3-yr -0.5bp at 0.795%
