US TSYS/OVERNIGHT REPO: The overnight repo market saw demand Monday for for the
Treasury 3-year and 5-year notes, but the 2-year note lost its sizzle as last
week's 2/5/7-year note auctions settled. The 2-year note saw less demand most
likely as those accounts who did not lend out supply around the quarter-end,
went back to normal lending habits once the quarter-end was over, said traders.
The Treasury 3-year note and 5-year note did remain tight, however, said
traders. The Fed on Monday had a $190.4 billion size one-day reverse repo
operation, less than the recent RRP sizes into quarter-end. The Treasury General
Collateral rate ebbed to 1.10% vs.
