US TSYS: The space has stuck to a tight range, with cash Tsys closed for Japan's
Showa Day holiday (set to re-open in London/EU hours).
- Weekend reports noted that North Korea is willing to publically close its
nuclear testing facility in May.
- Slightly better than expected official Chinese PMI data did little for the
space, with traders happy to sit on the side-lines in front of the incoming
event risk.
- Key US risk events this week include PCE & MNI Chicago PMI data, due Monday,
ISM M'fing PMI, due Tuesday, FOMC MonPol decision & ADP employment data, due
Wednesday, ISM non-M'fing PMI & factory orders, due Thursday & NFPs due Friday.
There will also be a raft of Fedspeak hitting after Wednesday's FOMC decision.
- T-Notes last at 119.15.
- The Eurodollar strip has operated in a limited manner, with the white and red
contracts 0.5 tick lower to 0.5 tick higher.
