JGB SUMMARY: The space traded in a range-bound fashion on Tuesday, with futures
finishing 2 ticks lower at 150.87.
- The belly of the curve experienced some modest underperformance but finished
off of worst levels after the MoF's latest liquidity enhancement auction for
5-15.5 Year JGBs passed smoothly.
- 3-month JPY cross currency basis continued to tighten, moving in to FY year
end, although super-long paper remains well supported.
- The key domestic risk event this week will be Friday's CPI release, while the
market will put more focus on Wednesday's FOMC decision.
- BoJ Deputy Governors Wakatabe & Amamiya are set to speak at 08:30 GMT today.
