BOND SUMMARY: There is very little to add from our morning summary.
-Equities are better bid on the margin, but direction is still lacking clear
direction. It has been a two way flow, albeit with higher Equities and Bond
recovering.
-We have seen no correlation from the indices moves into EGBs nor Gilts, with
the contracts making an attempt back to the upside, aiming to potentially finish
the day flat.
-BTPs have continued to lead Government Bond higher with focus going into the
end of the session on Italian President Sergio Mattarella starting his meeting,
with investors expected to hear more clarity regarding their Politics later
tonight.
-Peripheral spreads have been a touch tighter against the German 10yr, with BTP
ahead with the spread at 200bps (5.7bps tighter).- Bund futures are down -0.14
today at 178.76 with BTP futures up 0.25 at 142.55 and OAT futures down -0.03 at
