Transneft Not Received Application for Increased Kazakh Druzhba Flows

Transneft has not yet received any application for an increase in pumping Kazakh oil via the Druzhba pipeline, according to TASS.

  • "We have not received applications yet. Monthly transit currently stands at 100,000 metric tons," official spokesman of the Russian oil pipeline operator Igor Demin said.
  • Kazakhstan is in negotiations with Germany about raising its supply to the country, with added volumes to be delivered by the Druzhba pipeline.
  • "We are talking about a volume of up to 2 million mt per year, though the final volume will be determined after negotiations," Kazakh Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev said.
