US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have inched higher despite equities doing likewise,
with hawkish-leaning European data setting the tone this morning but having
little lasting effect. Overall though, unspectacular volumes (TYH0 = 168k) and
rangebound trading have prevailed.
- The 2-Yr yield is flat at 1.6226%, 5-Yr is down 1.2bps at 1.695%, 10-Yr is
down 1.2bps at 1.8679%, and 30-Yr is down 1.4bps at 2.2916%.
- Mar 10-Yr futures (TY) up 4/32 at 128-18.5 (L: 128-14.5 / H: 128-20.5).
- Today will see the House debate and vote on two articles of impeachment
against President Trump, starting at 0900ET, will last most of the day with vote
seen 1900ET if not later.
- Nonexistent data slate today.
- Fedspeak: NY`s Williams on CNBC at 10ET, Chicago's Evans speaks at 1240ET.
Brainard speaking in Frankfurt earlier said nothing on current MonPol.
- 2-Yr FRN supply of $18B at 1130ET.
