US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasury and rate futures are broadly flat as equities and the
dollar have stabilised following Monday`s volatility.
- T-Note futures are trading slightly lower, TYZ8 off 2/32 at 118-105.
- Cash is trading again after Monday`s holiday. Vs Friday`s close, the 2-Yr
yield is down 2.1bps at 2.9035%, 5-Yr is down 2.4bps at 3.0114%, 10-Yr is down
1.5bps at 3.1672%, and 30-Yr is down 1.3bps at 3.3717%.
- Eurodollar futures largely flat.
- T-Notes had moved sharply lower (although the move was fairly limited) earlier
as SCMP reported that China's top trade envoy is travelling to the U.S.
- Stocks look to have found some footing following Monday`s sell-off; S&P Emini
up 0.6%. Early dollar strength has faded; DXY off 0.1% at 97.442.
- Fed speakers today include Kashkari, Brainard and Harker, all seen on the
dovish side.
- Fairly limited data flow; NFIB came in a touch below survey (108 v 107.4 exp).
