US TSY/RECAP: Treasury yields ran higher on Wednesday as the space discounted a
US retail sales miss (although many banks revised their Q118 GDP forecasts lower
as a result of the data), in favour of focusing on a strong CPI print.
- Heavy flow included real money sellers, and off the run sales, including front
end Eurodollar sales in Whites-Reds (EDH8-EDZ9) on inflation = tighter policy
expectations, heavy low delta put buying after moderate unwinds seen earlier in
week, as well as some profit taking selling.
- T-Notes last at 120.12, 10-Year yield last 2.902%
