US TSY FLOWS: Tsy futures trading mildly lower to steady in the long end, near
overnight lows on moderate volume, relative calm ahead Fri's Aug NFP. Equities
firmer (emini +5.5, 2461.25), gold weaker (-1.96, 1306.68), oil little higher
(WTI +0.29, 46.25).
- Asia, Early bid evaporated quickly, sources reported Asian regional banks
selling amid firmer China PMIs, 5s30s flatteners as well.
- London, Tsys traded sideways through London hours, specs two way in 2s-5s,
fast$ sales in 5s, credit acct buying on lows, misc acct buying in 5s-10s.
- Swaps, spds mildly wider across the curve, rate paying in 5s and 10s on modest
volume. There looks to have been some paying in 5Y swaps in the region of
$300mln, while a little earlier there appeared to be what looked like a
10Y/12Y/15Y butterfly swap in $120mln+.
- Eurodollars, mildly lower in Whites-Reds (Sep'17-Jun19), steady out the curve.
Earlier sell 7k Red Dec'18 at 98.355. LIBOR sets' 1 Month -0.0055 to 1.2317%
(-0.0039/wk), 3 Month +0.0017 to 1.3178% (+0.0000/wk).
