US TSY/RECAP: Tsys were mildly lower to steady in the long end by the bell on
Thursday, experiencing decent volume amid two-way trade
- Early support was seen on the back of a strong UK Gilt auction, but a stronger
USD weighed on Tsys later in the day as the DXY reclaimed the 90 handle. - Lower
tier data was largely ignored.
- Eurodollar futures were pressured on the back of the higher LIBOR fix, as
3-month USD LIBOR jumped by over 3bp.
- Swap spreads gapped tighter, with the spread curve steeper on decent front end
receiving & flys in the belly.
- T-Notes last 120.14+, US 10-Year yields last 2.828%.
