TTF Drifts Lower on Mild Weather and Steady Supply

TTF is drifting down form the high of 51.75€/MWh from the start of the month with mild weather expected to return to northern and western Europe over the weekend after cooler weather in the next couple of days.

    • TTF MAY 23 down -2.2% at 42.18€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -0.3% at 54.84€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 up 0.2% at 52.5€/MWh
  • European LNG net import flows have drifted off from recent highs of 456mcm/d on 5 April but sendout remains around the average of 415mcm/d seen during March.
  • European gas in storage is holding relatively unchanged since mid March and at 55.55% according to GIE data from 9. Storage has seen net supply switching between small injections and small withdrawals since 17 March.
  • Norwegian imports are today nominated back up to 336.3mcm/d after capacity cuts over the Easter weekend but Kollsnes continues to experience “process problems”. Planned maintenance outages are expected to impact capacity at Aasta Hansteen and Hyhamna in the next couple of days.
  • Gas transit flows through Ukraine are today nominated at 40mcm/d and Algeria gas flow to Italy at Mazara are up at 74.9mcm/d.
