TTF Falls as Norwegian Supply Returns from Maintenance

TTF is trading lower today as flows from Norway return after maintenance and with warmer weather expected for most of Europe over the next week.

    • TTF NOV 22 down -5.7% at 178€/MWh
  • Russian gas supplies transit via Ukraine remains steady at 41.8mcm/d despite ongoing tensions and concern for Russian supplies. Over the weekend Gazprom suspended gas flows to Italy in a dispute over regulation changes regarding transport through Austria at the start of the new gas year. Gazprom has also reduced flows to Moldova by 30% and ‘reserves the right’ to halt flows over delayed payments.
  • Norwegian supplies are today nominated up at 342.1mcm/d after the end of the seasonal maintenance period. Flows were still reduced at approximately 280mcm/d last week.
  • LNG flows into NW Europe are still up at 245mcm/d although storage levels have dipped slightly to 88.07% from a peak of 88.44% on Sep 29.
