Twist Steepening Holds

AUSSIE BONDS

The curve has twist steepened, in catch up to the overnight move in futures, with little in the way of movement in YM and XM thus far. Cash ACGBs run 2.5bp richer to 1.5bp cheaper across the curve, pivoting around 7s. The 3-/10-Year EFP box has twist steepened at the margin. Bills run 2bp lower to 2bp higher through the reds, twist flattening.

  • Participants await the latest round of ACGB issuance and the weekly AOFM issuance slate, as well as the previously flagged Chinese PMI data ahead of the long Sydney weekend.
