U.Mich LT Inflation Expectations Keep Steady

  • Consumer inflation expectations 5-10Y out were unrevised at 3.0% in the final March release, where they've for two months having peaked at 3.1% back in Jan.
  • Separately, little change in market-based expectations measures from yesterday. 5Y breakeven still close to highs at 3.69% whilst 5Y5Y inflation swaps less historically elevated having dipped lower over the past two weeks to 2.63%.
