US LNG Feedgas Climbs to Near 7-Month High

LNG

Feedgas intake into US LNG terminals has climbed to its highest daily level since April, according to Bloomberg.

  • Current feedgas intake as of Nov. 10 stands at 14.778 bcf/d, the highest level since April 22. It is slightly above the recent high in November of 14.754 bcf/d.
  • The record intake was April 16 at 14.888 bcf/d.
  • Feedgas intake has been able to increase as terminals have come back from maintenance – both planned and unplanned – with most terminals seeing their feedgas intake at near their maximum observed levels.
  • A recovery in feedgas intake from Sabine Pass, the US’ largest terminal by output, rising by 25% since Nov. 8, has bolstered overall feedgas intake to its second highest recorded level.
  • Yet, Sabine Pass’ current feedgas intake remains slightly below the maximum level. It currently stands at 5.086 bcf/d, below the 5235 bcf/d seen Nov. 1.
