US Refiner Receives Nigerian Otkakip Grade for First Time

Delta Air Lines’ Monroe Trainer refinery in Pennsylvanian purchased a cargo of Nigerian Otakikpo crude, the first time for a US refiner, Bloomberg said.

  • The vessel Aquahonor delivered 130k bbl on July 3. It was a co-load with Nigerian CJ blend.
  • The vessel was booked by PetroIneos.
  • Monroe typically buys WAF grades for its 190k b/d refinery, Bloomberg added.
