USDCAD Shows Little Sign Of Stronger CPI, Equities

  • SPX on a largely one way move higher since the open has done little to push USDCAD lower, at 1.3627 (+0.1%) off earlier highs of 1.3637 having reversed an earlier move lower on stronger than expected CAD CPI.
  • The pair remains in a narrow range for the US session, off lows of 1.3595, whilst the technical outlook is seen as bullish, with support at 1.3571 (20-day EMA) and resistance 1.3705 (Dec 16 high).
