KOREA RATES: USDKRW is trading at its daily high at 1134.00 as 2-year swap rates
trade at daily lows of 1.9350% after the BOK's monpol statement came down on the
dovish side and did not give much of a hint of tightening at its next meeting in
November, with the usual reference to monitoring household debt included.
- The BOK noted some downside risks to its growth projections, stemming partly

- The Bank also reiterated that job market conditions are sluggish.
- On inflation, the BOK expects CPI to fluctuate in its mid-to-upper 1% range,
while core CPI rises gradually.
- No mention was made about the widening interest rate gap with the US.
- Focus now turns to BOK Governor Lee's press conference.
