    • Defense Min Akar says precautions have been taken in the event that Turkish military personnel need evacuation, but also Turkey remains open to drawing up a mandate in the even Turkish soldiers are able to remain in Kabul
  • HealthMin warns expected decline in covid case numbers is not materialising with Turkey registering 19,351 cases on Sunday.
    • Says "the fact that cases did not decline over the weekend is a signal that we must be more cautious and insistent on adhering to anti-virus rules."
    • In a bid to increase vaccinations Turkey will require unvaccinated people to provide PCR tests to attend social events starting 06 September
