NEW ZEALAND: Westpac's New Zealand chief economist Dominick Stephens has revised
his forecast for RBNZ official cash rate, now expecting hike in May 2020 versus
previous forecast for hike in November 2019. He thinks there is a real risk that
the OCR will be cut over the coming year -- at least 33% chance. But because he
also expects economic data to improve shortly, he thinks the cuts are more
likely to be averted.
