POWER: Works on 1.4GW UK-NO and Norwegian Power Links Extended to 18 Jan

Planned maintenance that is scheduled on the 1.4GW GB-NO2 and 2.2-3.7GW NO2-NO1 Power links to address essential fault corrections has been extended to 18 January, latest Remit data show.

  • Maintenance is now scheduled on the 1.4GW North Sea Link in the GB-NO2 direction from 15 January at 08:00CET to 18 January at 00:00 CET, with capacity curtailed to 1GW in that direction.
  • Works in the NO2-GB direction will occur over the same period; however, the capacity will be curtailed to 1.3GW.
  • Works on the 2.2GW NO1-NO2 power link in the NO1-NO2 direction will occur over the same period, with capacity curtailed to 300MW.
  • In the other direction, the 3.7GW link will be curtailed to 400MW over the same period.
