US TSY/RECAP: Yields finished Thursday's session off of highs with the curve
ever so slightly flatter on decent volume after a $7bln 30-Year TIPS auction,
which tailed by 2 bp.
- It was certainly the quietest day of the week despite the large flurry of
data, not a good sign for an active Friday with traders eyeing the exits heading
into the extended US holiday weekend and China off on LNY. 
- Flow included fast money buyers in 10s, and bank buying in 30s post-IP, fast &
and real money sellers in 10s near highs. Heavy option volume was also observed
hedging quarterly rate hikes with the front end well offered.
- A Nikkei piece released in US hours noted that BoJ's Amamiya and economist
Wakatabe (both doves) are in the frame for the role of Deputy Gov. at the the
BoJ. These names have been touted before and the article is available here for
