uncertainty surrounding the location/timing of the signing of a phase 1
Sino-U.S. trade deal.
- The ASX 200 was the outperformer, as the tech sector benefitted from some
favourable earnings, while the financial sector was able to shrug off
disappointing earnings from banking giant NAB, with some names benefitting from
a tie up deal with a local name & Amazon.
- U.S. equity index futures ticked lower.
- Nikkei 225 unch., Hang Seng -0.4%, CSI 3090 +0.1%, ASX 200 +0.8%.
- S&P 500 futures -4, DJIA futures -32, NASDAQ 100 futures -15
