US TSYS
US TSYS: A quiet re-open for T-Notes after a relatively range bound Monday, last
+0-01 at 128-15+.
- Contract finished around the middle of its range after the limited Brexit
worry related uptick unwound in NY hours, with the curve twist steepening. A
mis-weighted 30s/Ultra-bond steepener in the NY morning aided this theme.
- In local news, stronger than expected housing and production data helped
soothe worries, although the former can't really be deemed a new development.
Elsewhere Fed's Rosengren noted that he is now prepared to wait and allow
inflation to move up to the Fed's target, after his dissenting votes against
rate cuts earlier this year.
- Looking to Wednesday, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on two
articles of impeachment against President Trump, Fedspeak will be provided by
Brainard and Evans, and we will see the latest round of 2-Year FRN supply.
